I think certain people are getting carried away with new morphs. It seems that every week any slight variation in pattern is considered a new morph and that it is impossible for anyone to also have that characteristic on any of their crested geckos. Not to mention that Gecko is a baby and no one can predict what it will look like.
I have a grey baby crested at home with black and red spots on him instead of the usual black for dalmations. Should I start calling him "Rainbow Glitter".
I am by no means trying to step on anyones feet but this whole new morph stuff, in my opinion, is getting out of hand. Don't get me wrong, I am just as excited as anyone to see a new morph but when the variations are so slight, who cares?

Ease down there cowboy...it's just a joke.

Just FYI, that's a 12 gram gecko showing adult coloration...but thanks for the lesson.

Now I know who to ask when I need help.

The Dash Dash Dot Crested would be more suitable? Seriously though, great looking gecko. I like the subtle pattern and color changes.

grnbasilisk Feb 02, 2005 01:12 PM

i still think i would just call that a partial pinstripe.
but the comment " Not to mention that Gecko is a baby and no one can predict what it will look like."
pinstripe scales are pinstripe scales and will not dissapear or appear as the gecko gets older. the only thing that will be different about that gecko is the brightness of the colors.
