guyana behavior...

bmxer415 Feb 02, 2005 05:40 PM

just bought a guyana few weeks ago. brought him home and fed him a few days later. few days after feeding he went into shed. well that's when his temper came out. he was giving me full open mouth hisses. after shed he seemed to calm down and it was time for feeding once again. well he was more focused on me then the rat he was layin on. once again he started hissin with his mouth wide open. i have the rat in front of his hidebox and he hasnt come out in a few hours. is this behavior normal? and if it is will he eventually grow out of it?

thanks,
anthony
