hello all Im fairly new to leos I personaly keep and breed boas and balls but Ive been takeing my better half with me to all the reptile shows the past few years and over time shes built up a mini reptile collection of her own wich includes leos. this year im gonna breed them i just have a few questions for some of you leo super breeders first off when introduceing the female to the male if I see no breeding behaivor how long before i pull her back out and how long before I reintroduce second what does it mean when she curls her tail receptive/non-recptive third is difficult if not impossable for a much smaller but still willing male to breed a big girl will she always shake him off or will she over time let him do the deed I think thats all for now any help would be much apprciated thanks Richard Ball

then she's probably not ready. Females will not usually let the males mate with them if they aren't ovulating. Curling their tails can mean several things. Males will shake there tails to see if other leos are male or female and both sexes will wave there tail when they hunt. Smaller males can breed with bigger females but it could def be harder for the male if the female is playing "hard to get". How much of a size dif do you have? Ask any more questions you have.
