my back and white passed away last month and none of the pet stores in the area will order any, I'm not looking for a show off animal, I just want a friend, so it don't have to be a morph or special x. anyone know were to get a new friend?

Im sorry for your loss, its always hard to lose a pet. There are tons of breeders out there! You can go on the kingsnake.com classifieds, go under monitors/tegus. Also you can do a search on google for "tegu breeders" and you will get many hits!

Sorry I am sold out as are many breeders at this time of year. It might be hard to find any babies now. I recomend Burt at agama if you are looking for a B&W he is THE MAN no doubt about it. For Reds, You can try me in the summertime when we will have babies again or you can try Atomic lizard ranch and EBV (East Bay Vivarium).

Babys will be hard to find this time of year.

Perhaps you could concider giving a rescued tegu a chance. You will find they offer the same enjoyment as buying a tegu, often for a minor donation.

There are many rescues out that who take in reptiles who are abused, neglected and often they are just unwanted because the 'novelty' wore off.

It's just a suggestion. You could also look in classified forums like the one here on kingsnake, thetegu.com, [bleep], etc
