Question on breeding rotation

LordDreyfus Feb 03, 2005 01:09 AM

I have a pair of redtails that have been locking up for about a month now. I have another female in a different cage that I would like to breed also, but I don't know when I can move the male. With Kenyans its seems to me a sure thing, but this is my first experience with redtails. I don't know if the current breeding will take or not, but I don't want to break up the fun prematurely. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Travis,
the courting of a female boa will take weeks to months before the copulation takes. I would not remove the male until you see them ignore each other for a few days, then it should be ok to try him with the next female.
I keep at least one male to every female and a few extra males to boot as a back up.
Good luck
