Mad_1234 Feb 03, 2005 01:16 AM

Well one of my pietschmanni eggs just hatched out about an hour ago. Yay!! I'm so happy. I was surprised at how large a active he was. He was moving all around. I'll be sure to post pics asap. 1 egg down 3 to go.

good thing you waited on them, eh?! let us know what the day count was from when they were laid (or when you found them at least) and when they hatched. also, it would be helpful if you could let me know what kind of medium you used while waiting on them to hatch. remember i have 1.2, so any info you could give would be highly appreciated!

and congrats!!! does this make you first in the uroplatus forums to have successfully produced pietschmanni offspring? you've definitely got some bragging rights!!! im STILL waiting on my male to do his thing....

you'll have to let us know all the details when you calm down a bit haha...
can't wait to see them.

Here he/she is, just about a day old. Its a lousy picture since I couldn't get the camera to focus but I'll get better pics up latter. When I actually calmed down and took time to look in the incubator I found out that my hatchling was from my second clutch of eggs. He was incubated for 109 days in moist vermiculite. I don't really expect the eggs from my first clutch to hatch now but I guess it's a possiblity but I should get another hatchling from the other clutch soon.
