I'm wondering if I can sit a boaphile cage (with under the cage heat installed) directly on a carpeted floor?

I'd appreciate any opinions. Thanks!

I would not sit any under the cage heater on carpet. Put a peace of 1/2 inch or thicker plywood under it. A lumber yard will cut it to size for you. Or go to a building site and get a peace of scrape from them and cut it yourself.

I, personally, think this is a bad idea. Especially if you have a synthetic carpet, which will tend to melt when head is applied to it...
