Opinions on this maurus form. This snake is over 3 feet long and color change is long over. It's amazing how the pattern is so strong. BTW, this is from some part in mid-venezuela, not even near to where E. c.c. occure, so it's not a hybrid!!!

Opinions on this maurus form. This snake is over 3 feet long and color change is long over. It's amazing how the pattern is so strong. BTW, this is from some part in mid-venezuela, not even near to where E. c.c. occure, so it's not a hybrid!!!

They too were very strongly patterned even into adulthood. They are very nice rainbows but I would have to say 'pure' maurus too. I think it is just the way they look from the eastern-most part of their range.
They also attain the very heavy bodied look that other maurus have and cenchria never does.

. I think Mayday is probably right about maurus from the eastern part of the range retaining that juvenile like pattern.

Thing is, that more to the east of where those are coming they are dull brown again, and I don't see this as heavy bodied as a typical maurus are... still soooo much to explore....
