I have a huge nice pair of Silver backs and they breed nicely all season up to the last month. I haven't seen him on her since the first of January. And up to then I never actually witnessed copulation just heavy courtship. I had an ultra sound done a week ago and her follicles were 25mm so this is critical breeding time. She is getting very close to ovulation and bigger each day. In hope to stimulate my male into breeding again I placed a male Hypo Colombian in the cage I knew that he would go for her and I knew there was a chance of them crossing, but I had hoped that the male bolivian would fight for her and not let him breed. But within ten minutes they were locked and her tail was lifted so I am pretty sure he was in, although I didn't disturb them. I am planning to take him out in a day or so and maybe my male Bolivian will start to breed her again. I figure there is a chance that she will use both males to fertilize if they both get her. I really didn't want to cross those lines, but now it is to late.
