Waxy Monkey Frogs.....

treesofmachinery Feb 03, 2005 11:55 AM

Can anyone tell me about their experience with Waxy Monkey Frogs? They seem kind of high maintenance and I was wondering how difficult they are to care for? SO far I have only kept "easy" frogs (GTFS and WTFS) but they have a single WMF at my Local Pet Store. And he is so adorable and tempting..

They have him priced at $100... is that a normal price for him? I think he is the cutest frog I have ever seen but I am not going to pay 100 bucks for something that I might ( and I hate to say it, because I do take really good care of my pets but..) kill.

Any thoughts?

Hi, I really want one to, they have a single one at our pet store too, but he is priced at 80.00. Hmmm, good luck!

Actually these frogs are very easy to care for. Basically keep them fairly warm high 70's low 80's and very low moisture. Have a small clean water dish available. They usaully eat only a few crickets a day and remove any uneaten crickets so they don't stress them out. They are definiteley 1 of the coolest frogs around.
