an 02 anery?
depending on sex, size, quality, appearance, etc...

Could be anywhere from $300 for a really ugly male, to as much as $1000 for a spectacular large adult female.

I've seen them in all ranges... lol

give more specifics and I can probably do so as well.

thanks, Joe

pic of when she was younger

bcijoe Feb 03, 2005 03:23 PM

Well, for one, the pic is altered.. because shredded aspen is not white and grey.. lol

She doesn't look bad, just not as good as the pic wants her too.. lol

I couldn't say what I would pay, but i've seen similar animals go for $600 to as much as $900 or so.. the prices, in my opinion, are a bit high due to what she can produce and the time of season it is.

The question I would ask is what is she worth to you?

I wouldn't pay $200 for most anery's i've seen this season, but I did pay $500 for a female that I thought was spectacular..

Hope that helped..

Sorry the pic was not altered. she was under a UV light for the pic, plus im not rich so I dont have one of those fancy cameras.

just a little over exposed with all that white light. Flash on? I've been using a 100 watts GE Reveal.. they work very well.

didn't mean to offend...
money has nothing to do with pics
fancy cameras don't either

Let me rephrase that and say the pic is not illustrating true, natural colors.. be it for lighting reasons or otherwise.

The pic clearly tries to show the subject as black and white as possible, which is usually done to increase the contrast and, in turn, the appeal for what an anery boa 'should' look like.. 'Black and White'.

If you're asking what I/you would pay for this animal, we can safely presume you want to buy it, and not that you have it at home or somewhere else where you can be photographing it yourself so to take offense to my comments.

Are you just pulling our chains here with meaningless questions?

I was actually trying to help...

I had an 02 anery female about the same size and weight and I sold her for $1000. She was very pretty and light with minimal speckling.
