it certainly looks pastel, but to truly be "pastel" it has to be able to pass that look on to it's offspring... aka it has to be genetically inheritable color/reduction of black to be truly "pastel." but without knowing the animal's history, you've got a grrrrreeeeeaaaat! looking normal who may prove to be pastel if you breed her!

I got the father as a none pastel from a sharp to a pastel breeding. I think he looks like a really bad pastel but the breed says hes not but most of the babies look like they are so thats why I ask.

Hard to really say without seeing more shots ( sides ) .
Also the term pastel in Boas is NOT genetic its line bred for that look. Or atleast this was always my impression on it . So to say havingto breed it to know if its a paatel would be a false statement. Pastel is a reduction of black but is not genetically attached i dont think .
