Color development...

This is a baby Harlequin at about 12 days old.(pictured shortly after first shed.) notice the heavy grey coloration on his sides....

At roughly 8 weeks of age,the dark grey is all but gone,and,the pinks/oranges will continue to intensify with each shed.typically they don't show this much color,this soon,it usually takes a while. this one was one of the non-salmon siblings from a co-dom.Salmon/Harlequin litter.

This is a Harlequin,het. for Sharp str. albino,a little over two months old,just begining to pull up some color,a little more every day!

(This pic looked alot better before I re-sized it,but,oh well.)This one had alot of dorsal speckling,but,showing good color,and,nice partial stripe...so I guess I can live with it
