Ok gang what most people wish would happen with their Uros happend to my 5 yr old female today. Thea is a 5yr old Mali/Moraccoon cross. My dad called me today and told me she just laid six eggs...theres a catch. She has never been with a male other than her brother about 4.5 years ago. He tells me the eggs are smaller than a quarter which in my mind would say that they are not fertile. He will be emailing me a pic so i can post on this site. My problems lies in what do i do for her. She had been looking so good very plump....well dahhhhh....and my dad says she is very thin now. What should i bee doing to help her out after this situation,,, such as food, calcium, vitamins?? All you egg layers i need your help....

all healthy female lizards can lay eggs, although without a male they won't be fertile, obviously. it is part of a natural cycle.

be sure the setup is ideal, great temps, great hidespots, great basking area, great hydration, etc, so that she can recover from this taxing cycle and put back on solid weight.

if the animal is stressed out, or does not have access to the proper tools to deal with laying eggs (or passing remaining eggs) that is when you can really run into problems.
