I would like to make a large (30-40 gallon) natural habitat for my Leo. Does anyone know what plants might work? I would keep them in planters to make cleanup easy. Just don't want to use anything that might hurt him.

Well...I'm not to fond of plants because they need a lot of light (which makes the geckos hide a lot) but still...good plants to use in a leopard gecko cage are succulents. (juicy cactusus without spines) Lithops (living rock) Plants are really neat, as are Pick-a-back plants (but they get large) But really, plants aren't needed in a leo cage...you can make a good, natural habitat for them out of peices of rocks aranged in formations and tank-glued together to prevent falls.
I use live plants myself and find it helps to keep the humidity right where it should be. Look for pics soon of my new setup (currently in progress). Don't know what a pick a back plant is, but all succulents are good, and I have had good results with Dracaena. Its very pretty, green leaves with white speckles. Most will last about a year if cared for properly. You can just walk in to a good greenhouse, describe the temps, humidity and such, and have them make suggestions. Let me know please if they come up with any others. Just make ABSOLUTLEY sure they have no spray pesticides or other.

Thanks for the help. I will make sure that there are no pesticides used on any plants I get. I also like the idea of using some natural rock as decoration. Would aquarium sealant be OK to use or is there a better choice?
100 % silicone is great. I use it for all my bonding needs, and yes, use the aquarium kind. I like something called "rainbow rock" you can sometimes get it in small enough peices at a nursery or patio store. Its gorgeous. Just bne really careful that nothing can fall on your guys.
