Please, need feedback on using Boaphile racks

JDalbo Feb 03, 2005 03:45 PM

I'm ready to switch from using cages to a rack systems and was looking for opinions on the "Ball Room Rack" from Boaphile. Are those of you using them pleased with them or disappointed? Gradient temps, ventalation, size, ect. I'm trying to get a rack with tubs large enough to house them for many years to come, however, do not have the space for Freedom Breeders. Any feedback, good or bad, would greatly be appreciated.

I have a variety of different Boaphile racks....as a matter of fact I just got off the phone with Joel before you posted. I love what I currently have.......and I plan to pick up 6-8 ball room racks this year. I'm waiting to see what hatches out.....

Boaphile racks are ok,,you need to drill holes for ventilation....especially for cycling to breed...other than that theyre fine ive got one myself..

I'd heard a lot of good things about them, and was going to get one myself, until my husband said he could built me the same rack for about $100 and I wouldn't have to wait 6 weeks to get it. I'd also heard that some people were having problems with boaphiles started to sag (I think it was on the other site not to be named). Hope this helps!

Put holes in the boxes. Don't listen to people that tell you you don't have to put AIR holes in the boxes.

Boaphiles work great with enough ventilation.
