How to know if a Corn is ready for Fuzzies?

keybeal Feb 03, 2005 08:47 PM

My Corn is about 10-13 inches long, after if chows on a pinky it cruises around the cage for a while, possibly searching for more? I've been feeding it once a week (pet store advice) --Should I try to see if it would take a 2nd pinky? Thanks!

is the one pinky making a lump right after he eats it? If it is, then it's fine. If it isn't, i'd start feeidng 2 a week until you're done with your pinks and then move to a fuzzy. remmeber a snake can eat prey that is UP TO 1.5 times the girth of the largest part of its body. I wouldn't reccomend to feed something that big for fear of the ouse rotting before it gets digested... but you want it to leave somewhat of a lump.
