I use ProProducts RHPs, and yes they can heat an enclosure that size...depending on panel size, and ambient temps.
My room is around 75*, my enclose 96" x 30" x18"...and I use the 152 panel I believe it is, on a zoo med thermostat, and temps are low 90s warm end, high 90s basking, and mid 80s cool side. Call the company, give em your specs, and they'll recommend the proper size panel.
Thanks..I'll give em a call.
Did you build your cage or buy it?? I am wondering if different materials hold heat better than others. I am probobly going to insulate my cage so it probobly doesnt matter much
Bob at Pro Products will tell you to install that silver sided styrofoam stuff for houses (UNDER) the enclosure. He said you lose most of your heat from there. Doesn't make sense to me but he's been doing this for roughly 40 years. Everything else he's told me has been right on. I have the styrofoam ready to istall, just need a little time. I've bought 2 RHP from him and will do so for every cage I build from now on. I got somewhat small ones but he'll be able to tell you exactly what you need and need to do to ensure it does the job for many years.
