What books are reliable?

AlexBo Jul 06, 2003 03:31 PM

I got The General care and maintenace of bearded dragons by: Philippe Vosjoli and Robert Mailloux, in this book they say that just molted mealworms can be fed to 2-4 month old beardies, but later i was told that mealworms shouldn't be fed to beardies that age, can i really trust this book? or the person?
if not what books does everyone on this forum recommend?

Views on almost everything related to bearded dragons are debated fiercly. No book will have 100% information that no one will dsagree with. No meal worms has to do with the high chitin in their shells. Freshly molten meal worms have a greatly reduced amount of chitin, that is why it is said to be okay. I consider Mr De Vosjoli's books to be of the upmost quality. And there is a new trend he is starting of having his books coauthored by some of the foremost breeders of the species.
