i am sure it is winter time but....

kaiser berg has been acting weird and it started when i went home about two weeks into being there. i thought maybe ivan was being too aggressive with food so i moved her in with walter but kaiser still did not eat. my sister said he pretty much slept the whole time i was gone. when walter slept all the time, he occaisionally ate crickets. i have not seen kaiser eat ANYTHING and walter never lost weight. kaiser's tailbones are starting to stick out. today he was out running around and being all crazy but he still did not eat today. i treated him for pinworms in october (i think)and he was skinny like this then. i am going to get him some baby food and see if he will lick at it. i still have his panacur here. should i let wait and let him get readjusted here before i use any medicine? i don't think i will be able to get him to the vet for a couple weeks.

kaiser berg last summer

June-Have you considered that he is not sick but strssing out. If I understand this, you have two males in the same cage, they are highly teritorial in the desert, and you may have an issue with strss here. Just a thought for you to consider. Try moving himn inot another cage and wait a few days and see if he wil eat. Also get an eye dropper and see if he will take some water, and if so mix some d3 powder with rep vitimins just a little with water and give him that id he will lick it up and see if that doesn't help pull hiom out of his tailspin. You know your lizard and your probably right, but i wanted to throw you an alternative as well. I ahve seen lizards stress down to nothing when two males are together, depending on the specie.......

i will try pumping him up with some vitamins. i am thinking stress has something to do with it, but ivan is a GIRL. hee hee i usually will say her full name, ivan the girl...anyway i was thinking maybe he was not used to loud children and just wanted to be back in my quiet apartment. he was in a different room from the kids, but when they did see him they were loud

You begin to see more weight lose. Right now you can try something different maybe to INTICE him, such as mealies or superworms, waxies, butter worms.

Some of mine still are not eating as well, and a tad sleepy too.

Reptoman's advice was great , but I think hes believing you have males togeher, when in acuality YOU just give females MALE names a times, LOL.

yes, i did think ivan was a boy at first, it's kind of like a boy named sue
he does not look deathly skinny, just lost all the weight he put on after getting rid of the worms. i just worry because i lost my first lizard ever to protozoans (and inexperience.)
