Egg Incubation?

holmesese Feb 04, 2005 08:38 AM

I was wondering what the optimum temperature and humidity were for Giant day gecko eggs? I don't have an incubator, and am planning on having a few eggs soon. Also, what is the prefered hatching method? I read that some people mark their eggs on one side so they will make sure and keep the right side of the egg up, what can you mark on the shells with safely? Thanks.

mark the top of the egg in pencil, just a small dot will do.
as far as temps go, i incubated my P.standingi eggs at 82-84 F and i got an even mix of males to females.
