Hi Lester,
I just wanted to ask, since it sounds like you might have quite a herd of HL's, how you manage to get the necessary ants?

Hello Cable.
Long time, No Hear
With the HLs I keep for study and the time I spend in the field, I collect ants constantly. I keep about 5000 ants on stock in the refridgerator. I keep at least 5 different genus/species of ants to also provide variety. It works pretty well, most of the time. In the winter, if some of my HLs decide to not hibernate, I will mail order ants also. I also field collect other insects, identified in scat, for variety also.
