Ive owned reptiles for as long as I can remember and finally decided that I have had enough experience to finally get a crocodilian. I was wondering what is the average size of an adult female alligator in captivity?

At places like the alligator farm in FL, I'd say they avg at almost 8 feet and a couple hundred pounds so i'd say thats a fair representation of what any gator could do as a minimum with proper husbandry.

If taken care of properly, I have seen ranges between 7-9 feet. Adult males average about 4 feet larger than females.
