any body here use ceramic heat emitters with thier burms?

I'm looking for a better way than just lightbulbs and a friend showed me his anaconda setup and said that the CHE works great.
so I'm kinda curious now.

Yes they work good. I use them in one of my Vision cages. Keep a water source close to the basking spot or else it will dry the air too much. You can also purchase a radiant heat panel as an alternative heat source which disperses the heat better if you have the extra $100 or so. Good luck.

They are way worth the money! They provide a real good source of heat and I believe Bob from Pro-Products told me his brand also provides the UV properties. You only need provide a light for, well, light! Call him up and he'll ask you a bunch of questions, then tell you which one fits your application.
