Hi there, I have attached a pic of the first two hatchlings from a clutch of 7 eggs. The good news is that the one I thought to be dead in the shell turned out fine. Bad news is we were gone overnight and another one hatched out almost all the way and perished. It seemed to jam its head between a spacer I had in there and the lid. There seems to be no reason why that was but he was dead when we came home today.
So these are the two balls that are out so far. Doesnt the one look pinkish or is that normal coloration for right out of the egg. I have not had too much exposure to ball pythons that are this "fresh".
Thanks,
Carole
