Not rhac. related......Helmeted geckos

Geckospot Feb 05, 2005 01:11 AM

I've decided to post this here since the "gecko" forum yeilded no results.

My helmeted gecko laid her third clutch last night. Thats 6 eggs since January 5. Man...These things lay eggs like crazy. I've just recently started working with these guys. There is very little info on the web about helmeteds.

I've read that hatchling helmeteds can be difficult to care for due to shedding & substrate issues. If anyone has any good tips on caring for baby helmeteds I'd love to hear them. Any bad experiences?

Thanks

Female geckos having to much eggs may hurt them from lack of calcium. Make sure shes getting plenty of calcium supplement.
