What does .1 and 1.0 whats that mean

I might be a little slow here but I have been trying to think of what that means.

1.0 Stands for a male. The .1 is for a female and 1.1 is for a pair. I hope that helps you out. Marty Hartman

Sometimes you will see 1.1.1 This mean male.female.unknown. Just thought I would add that for and reference.
