My new cresed in about 2-3 months old brown/red dalmation. He cant walk up the glass. Maybe because its moist from me misting the aquarium? He has not found his peach baby food yet. He wont go after any crickets, Any advice?? Also its really humid in there, should i still put in a water bowl?

Just let the gecko settle in. It's probably stressed from moving and not all that hungry. Many of them won't eat until it's completely dark. Don't worry about it, though. It will eat when it's hungry.

If they have stuck shed on their toes, if it's too dry or if it's too wet, they will have trouble walking up glass. In the wild they don't walk on glsass, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Humidity doesn't have anything to do with your gecko's ability to drink water. If there are water droplets on the glass or leaves (or whatever) in the cage and you plan on misting every day, I wouldn't worry about a water bowl. Be careful with too much humidity...fungal & bacterial growth can get out of hand quickly in a moist environment without proper ventilation.

Thanks for responding...I put some peach baby food in there with minerall in it and i plan on leaving it in there overnight, how will i know he ate from it? Also he is a little guy so i have him in a 20 gal long aquarium right now but i plan on flipping it sideways once he gets a little bigger. Also, cresteds are aboreal so why does he walk on the bottom of the cage every since i got him?

A 20 gal to too big for a little guy, so first thing you should do it get him a smaller cage. Also flipping a 20 on its side might give him too little floor space. In a smaller cage he will find food better.

Yeah they ussualy can't climb on the glass after a mist. And sometimes they wont eat the first day or so, but try letting him/her lick the baby food off your finger. About the water bowl, i would at least offer it on even if it dosent use it.
