last week except they were fuzzy mice and it was my colubrids. There was about 5 or 6 snakes to regurge in a 2 day period. Weird huh? My guess is that it was bad luck because I fed them agian on monday and have had no regurges sinc then. You sure are right on the smell. I think it is the worst smell possible. Especialy if it has been inside the snake for about 3 or 4 days. What a coincidence.

ugh that's nasty. It's not as bad as with a monitor though. I remember a few times with my sav he had regurgitated rats. the smell is the most disgusting thing ever! but luckily i've never had a snake reguritate a meal. that's wierd. maybe some wierd condition in the cages made them throw up? i dunno that's real wierd

YEa I had my sav to regurge a few years ago because silly me over fed him. Snake vomit is worse if you ask me.

the monitor puke almost made me throw it and it stunk up my house. my bro's snake has thrown up but it doesn't smell as bad. i think it's the powerful gastric juices they have for digestion. i dunno. both wreak though

...you're reading a discussion over whether monitor vomit or snake vomit smells worse.

Thanks for this rather intersting thread guys!

P.S. sorry about the deceased Burm.

Hey just remember it could be worse. I had some bad rabbits. Fed my 14' male burm. Then a couple days later I had to go away for a day. When I got back he had regurged 14 lbs of rabit and the maggots were an inch thick. To make matters worse, he up and died 24 hours later. I sincerely hope your escapade goes better.
