That is a nice reduced black specimen. I forgot Bill, is that a male or female? I like the awesom grey face on it as well.

You have a nice collection of thayeri there! are you going to be breeding any of them this spring?

Bgibsy Feb 07, 2005 11:31 AM

Thanks Tom,

They're all 04 babies so I have some time before breeding. I'm already imagining the possibilities though For now, they will just be happy pets.

Please keep us posted as they grow!

Did you recently become interested in thayeri?

BG Feb 07, 2005 04:39 PM

I recently got bit by the Mexicana bug and I've got it bad! Don't know why I never indulged myself with them before. They are the Lifesavers Candy of the snake world. So many assorted flavors! And, you can't have just one

That's great! I only got into them relatively recently too. I got my first female in 2003 and have since aquired a 2.3 group. I look forward to breeding these guys in 2006. I can't wait! My group is on the orange side... but I am still holding out for a nice pair of bright yellows.

You definately went top notch with your first babies! They are all great. I especially like the bright yellow one.

Please post pictures as they grow... some of them go through rather amazing color changes as they grow - especially in the first year or two.
