I went to home depot today and i was wondering what they had that i could make an enclosure out of?
Can i make a tank out of plexi glass?

Plywood, MDF, and MDF. Those can be coated with contact paper, FRP, or counter laminate.
Another item that can be used for a lighter cage is hollow core doors.

Yes, but make sure it's actually plexi-glass or some other high quality acrylic. The acrylic I have seen at Home Depot has been low quality. Also note there are certain tradeoffs with acrylic cages not to mention the steep learning curve to working with it.
