Shy new female.

Tyler1055 Feb 05, 2005 08:49 PM

I just got my very first snake shes an 04 female and ive had her for about 5 weeks. The problem is is that she is very shy. She os always hiding under her wooden log cave. and i was wondering if there is anything im doing wrong or if its normal behavior. The tank is continually at about 82-85 degrees and I have bark bedding in the cage. if i can get my camera working ill put up a pic.

Don't worry - She's not shy, that's what they do - stay in their hides until it's time to eat or try for the occasional escape attempt. Congrats on the new addition.
