What do "Orange" Pueblan Milk Snakes look like as adults... Any adult pix of other Pueblan Morphs?

ZFelicien Feb 05, 2005 09:12 PM

I ask this B-cuz I have an apricot female that was rather colorful as a hatching but has lost most of her Color... I wanna find a good mate for her but I wanna know that the "Orange" Peublans look like as adults...

i've seen a very nice Halloween morph (adult male) but the odds of me finding one like that is slim...

Adults like these throw a mixed bag of babies. Like a box of chocalate, you never know what you'll get.

Some of the babies.

And more babies.

Do your Snake "throw" bi-colored offspring every time they breed? if so what percentage of the clutch is bicolored (3/5, 1/4, 1/2)?

When the male orange is hooked up to a "normal" or B&W,
at least half turn out bi-colored; the rest are orange bowls.
I'm trying the reverse this season with my orange female; a very nice wide banded male. The orange male gets the bi-color and normal wide band female again. Looking to delete the black bands altogether.

so what you're telling me is your line of Bi-colors has been proven to be genetic? I ask because I read on Shannon's site that he had lots of difficulty with this particular morph...
I'd want to start working with this morph but I need to be clear on the breeding outcome.
This year I planed on increasing my Getula collection... if that doesn't work out I hope you have a at least one of these left(Male)... if not I'll be saving up for a pair in `06... best part... you're local.

Hope to do business with you soon.

Shannon is right. Genetics unproven. Until I breed the 04 holdbacks to ea. other and see what happens. I'm just happy to get all bi-colors from my breeders.
By the way I do not sell local, no exceptions made.

don't mean to sound rude... but what reason do you have to not selling locally?

their aren't too many people working with these snake,
so what you're telling me is that i'm gonna miss out on woking with these?

you'd be making the same $ so what's the problem?

I'm really interested in your reason(s) so please don't ignore this post.

ZF,

if worst comes to worst I'll buy them for you and then ship them to you. That way you won't be buying them locally. Then there won't be a "monopoly" of them locally. They always say the last cookie is the hardest one to get off the plate, even if your full you gotta have the last one.
