They offer both sliding glass and acrylic as well as the swinging hinge type. What type do you all recommend? Anyone had experiene with the sliding acrylic?
I say sliding glass is the only way to go with retics. Swing doors give them too many directions to escape from when you open the cage, sliding you can open it just a little and toss food in without having to worry about the snake spilling out of the cage in feed mode. And aqrylic gives to much in my opinion, it will keep them in but they will just keep pushing because it moves a little and they think they can get through.
I agree sliding, not only for that reason but if you feed in the cage like I do, you can slide it just a bit to put the food in as to the otherway you have to open it up and gives them more of an opening and its a pain to deal with if they do not just take the food from the ground. I wish they offered sliding when I got mine.
