bullfrog

denise1 Feb 05, 2005 11:09 PM

I purchased a bullfrog over the summer as a tadpole, long story short, when I got him and another home I realized one of his legs was missing and it was a fresh wound...he survived the summer but the healthy one didn't...feeling he had been through enough for one his age I brought him inside where he will remain in a small pond...well he has finally grown his front legs...was wondering what a good choice of foods would be for him now that he's a frog...thanx..

The one I used to have, loved crickets. They can take medium crix when they first morph; try to get ones that are roughly the same length, as the width of the frog's mouth.
They will also eat fish with great relish. Try to avoid goidflsh and feed something like feeder minnows.
