How often should I feed my two turtles minnows and other live foods? They're pretty young (well under a year), and love minnows. But I heard its bad to feed them too much live food because it is so high in protein. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

I think its rule of thumb to not feed turtles "50%" of one type of food so just use that knowledge when you want to feed them live foods. Also consider that most live foods don't have enough nutrition (just protein). So maybe once every 2 weeks since young turltes do need a lot of nutrition

I bought 10 guppies and added them to the tank a week ago. As of this morning, there was one left. He seems to eat them as a late night snack once in a while. I am goingto buy more for him tonight.
