Built a snake room at one end of the basement. I have supplemental lighting, but I am unsure as to whether or not I will need to use it when I am not there admiring my snakes. The reason is: There is a small window which lets in enough light to get around, read the temps, etc. It is a "dim" light, but it would provide a perfect cycle in terms of hours of daylight. Anyone know of any research on this matter? How about personal experience in terms of varying light intensity and how this influenced your snakes? Any thoughts would be helpful. Duffy
