pygmy chameleons

greenmoose Feb 06, 2005 10:27 AM

I have been following this forum for a year or so and have decided to try keeping the pygmy chameleons. I have many years experience keeping reptiles. In terms of preferred set-up for these special chameleons, the consensus seems to be that people use traditional aquariums instead of screened enclosures. Is this true? Also, I have read in some places that a flourescent bulb may not be needed. For those who have successfully kept these species, what is your preferred set-up. Thanks so much

Aquarium do good in humdities but poor in ventilation. Thus, be sure you have some sort of fan to overcome this problem if you plan to use a aqu.
