Often with lots of calcium. They grow REALLY fast. My tegu was the only animal I ever had that developed early MBD. All that growing bone needs lots of CA. I fed mine daily when he was little. Now he gets fed about every other day. Try some fruit. Mine ate straight fruit when he was little. Now I have to hide it in ground turkey balls.

Good luck,

Brian

Mine are juvies in the 24inch range. I'm currently feeding them a diet of mostly mice. They have shown little interest in anything else. Turkey seems to get the job done as well but they pick at it and don't eat much. Fruit never gets looked at, and I haven't tried eggs (not real good for them). I haven't feed them in the past 3 days as you look into 3 cages and see nothing but mulch lol. They normally take a mouse every day to every other day.
