As mentioned in the last post I have a breeding group of wild caught Bahaman anoles. Is it normal to have a lot of color variations if they were all caught in the same area? My largest male is brown with a spectacular design of yellow spots while the other male is deep reddish brown. Then two of the females are reddish brown one with a brilliant yellow stripe on the her back and the other with tiny speckles of white. Then my third female is brown with a yellowish white diamond pattern on her back. They are just coming into breeding season so maybe some are changing colors a little earlier than the others?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
