Okay so its definately time to redo my Dragons home. I wish i could make is enclosure deeper now, I may attempt it but my point is thathe may have to be out for at most a WEEK, which is a very long time. What do I do with my dragon during this time, hes over 26" I havent measured him in about a year tho, just guessing. Should I construct a temporary Screen/PVC tank? But waht wouldI do about lighting, cause screen wont allow the needed light in. Any help would be nice, thanks!

depends on where you are. a week without uvb won't hurt him. i read of several people who had problems with their reptile set-ups after the hurricanes in FL. No power, etc. Some of them kept them in their reptiles in bath tubs and gave them 20 minutes of sunshine for uvb. At least in FL it was warm-no power=no A/C. Do you have a spare bathroom you could set-up for a week? uvb gets through screen wire, but decreases considerably with mesh. I'm using 1/4" hardware cloth over all of my lighting holes and still getting good uvb readings with my meter. A cheap reptarium would be another idea since it's only for a week, but I'm sure you'd rather spend your resources on the new set-up than a temporary one. Good luck.
