I'm curious too... snake shed and looked a little dimpled, but I didn't think anything of it until someone said something... now I really want to know!

Yes,it may sound weird, but bloods dimple for both reasons, too much humidity and lack of.Here's my blood that soaked the whole time he was in shed.He got dimpled

The pics above where taken a couple of months ago he since just shed last week.I haven't taken pics yet.I kept the humidity at 80% the whole time he was in blue. When he shed the scales corrected themselves from the last dimpled shed.It may take one more shed till his scales are perfect again.(RECAP)The pics above and his dimpled scales were a result of him SOAKING the entire shed cycle. If kept at 80-85% humidity during the shed cycle the scales should come out flawless.Good luck.Hope I could have helped. Ok, thanks. I think it was too low humidity, but is 60% too low????

She shed in patches, but a misting and an hour by herself and she was good. I gave her new mulch as soon as she was able to see again, and now her scales are flawless, and the humidity is up to 80% plus. Darn Damp mulch, now I gotta keep her cage open while I do homework to get it back down a bit...

Thanks for the info!!!
