i have a few adult red tail boas. both of them eat good and are around 7ft. i have been feeding mine about once every 2 weeks. my question is how often do you feed your adult boas?

i feed my adult male on average once every other week. but on occasion he will take 2 and sometimes he will take one then another 7 days later (fed med rats) but most of the time its one every 2 weeks.

I don't have a strict feeding schedule.. but I try to feed between every 7 to 14 days. If I notice that there last meal seems to be digested and they had a good defication - I'll give them another meal as close as 7 days, but if they still look "full" I'll wait till they start to get a little acitive and seem to be hungry. some of my boas can take a large meal and digest it really quick and other seem to have a slower metabolism and I try to adjust the feeding to fit their schedule.

I feed my adult male Anery once a month or a month and a half, 1 large-jumbo rat. If he is hungry in a month he eats if not he waits. The boy is 6ft. and 10 lbs. Strong and in perfect condition. Babies get fed once a week or according to metabolic rate.
Here is a picture of the boy, he isn't underfed for those powerfeeders who think so. He is 100 percent perfectly healthy.
