bloodboy128 Feb 06, 2005 11:12 PM

Well the heater is the nice kind as to which i can set a temperature....So i set the temp to 90 hoping my room in the basement would at least go to 80...well the cage is 6 ft away from the heater....the hot side on top of his hide is 84 ( in the hide is 90 like laways) the middle is around 82 and the coolest temp in the cage is 77? Is this good because for some reason this heater bits! and i don;t thyink the temps are gettin too much better.....Also on a better note my burm goin crazy! he craewlin everywhere i can tell he is hungry hopefully his feeding will continue wedsday!
thanks
Jake

Many heaters are to small for larger rooms. It also may be 90F where the heater is but 6ft away there is little change. Consider a larger heater, a smaller herp room, or repositioning the heater.

this is a bit off topic but i was just wondering how much the room heaters usaully go for? i usually just use glass tanks for all my tanks and sometimes DIY but i think a herp room would be better.
