Common snapper enclosure ?s...

rdbeal Feb 07, 2005 01:12 AM

Hi, I'm Rob, new to the forum.

I recently recieved a common snapper from someone that said they could no longer take care of it. They were keeping it in a small 5 gallon aquarium. I moved it to a 40 gal. breeder tank quickly; got a decent (needs to be better) filter, a few river rocks (glued together, or else *clank* *clank* all night ), and an ebo-jager heater. I'm just trying to figure out how to keep him from moving the filter and heater all over the aquarium so that they can serve their purpose adequately. If anybody has any clues on how to anchor these down without completely gluing them to the glass please send me a few clues.

Thanks for the help...
Rob

put rocks to try to protect the filter and heater. That's what I do, and I would invest in a heater guard quickly so the snapper doesn't break the heater. Good luck with that issue, I gave up caring so much about their placement.
