Tri-Color Hypo with pics

Colubrid-aphilia Feb 07, 2005 10:55 AM

Been waiting for 3 days for her to shed so I can put some pics of her up for all to see. She's got realy thin (almost pinbanded) "dark" bands that are also vanishing to boot. The pics don't do her justice, the bands are actually almost purple they are so reduced. The reduced dark bands have given her some really wide red bands that really contrast nicely with the ultra-clean cream bands.

This is a pic of her with her het sister to show the contrast between the "normal" and the hypo. Really brings out her colors to see her next to a normal colored honduran!

That's the pride and joy of my collection (1.0 tri color hypo, 0.1 tri color hypo (pictured), 0.1 het for hypo (pictured), 1.0 extreme hypo, and 1.0 tangerine albino)

Enjoy

Thanks Jeff,

I've been trying for a while to start up a collection of Hondurans, but something kept getting in the way. Now that I'm soon to be divorced, there's not really anyone to say "NO" anymore.

I got lucky and stumbled accross this girl and was able to make things work out, and now she's the "centerpiece" of my collection. Can't wait till she gets a little size on her, she should be an awesome little girl next year.

Now that's an awesome tri color hypo! I'd love to see what the babies would look like if yours (hopefully male) bred with my female. I'd love to see a baby pop out with absolutely no black, kind of like an applegate special, only in a honduran. The red on creme would be outstanding. Thanks for looking,

Dan.
