I tried to breed my female dumeril's boa this year and i did witness copulation in november. I check for but did not see any swell. She has been, for the last month, sitting under the hot spot more than i have ever seen before 24/7. hot spot is 96. My question is, would you assume she is gravid or not? and why. also, if she is gravid, shouldn't she be turning her belly up? cage temp is 80 on the cool side and 94-98 in the hotspot.

There is a good posibility, and turning her belly up can be a distinct sign of her carrying babies, however you temp on the basking side is to hot! She needs to maintain a constant 88-89 degree temp when gravid, so check your temps. You may if you haven't already hook you heat source up to a thermostat. Good luck.
