Hey dude,
I meant to post this earlier for you, but didn't.
Ground snakes prey mainly on small invertebrates, such as centipedes, scorpions and insect larvae. I have a friend who last year, bred two WC ground snakes together, they laid 2 eggs, 1 hatched and the baby was albino. That little albino was about 3" to 4" at hatching time, and still is the only one of it's kind that exists in captivity. At 6" in length, it started feeding on unscented pinky mice, even though many people would think a snake of that size could take down such an item.
Well my friend sold the ground snake adults before the egg hatched, and he couldn't get them back to breed them again. When the baby reached about 8", it was sold for 3K.
The snakes do well in an enclosure around 80 degrees, and a moist substrate to burrow in. They like to hide.
Also, $30 each, really isn't worth it, I could probably get some for free, and just pay shipping.
