2003 Female Dodge Co., GA Eastern King - A Beauty and the Beast Story ...

Keith Hillson Feb 07, 2005 02:47 PM

When I got this female and a male as hatchlings in 2003 they were okay looking nothing special etc... The male subsequently died as they both had skin blisters with the male being the worst. Anyway the female was a dirty cream color and after each shed she got muddier and muddier (is that a word ???). At one point I thought she may be the ugliest Eastern Ive ever owned and I contemplated selling her. I decided to keep her to see if by some slim chance she would get better looking. Starting in late spring I started noticing her getting cleaner with each shed but I wasnt banking on anything as you never know when she would stop and just be a below average looking Eastern. Fast forward to about 5 sheds and she is a stunner ! With her last shed she is pretty much light butter yellow colored with some cool side speckling. IM glad I kept her but I dont have a same locality male for her unfortunatley. I know someone does though and I dont remember who but if you read this email me ! Anyway here are some pics of this girl. She is about 30" long or so.
