I can't get over the high band count on this getula. A local friend of mine gave me this snake (Thanks Jeff!) from his collection. It sound like it originated from Burlington county stock.

What a beauty ! I also like the heavy crossbar counts. Here is a pic of his sister.

Here is a pic of a 2002 Burlington Co. hatch thats unrelated (I think) to yours and Will's animals.

Here is a pic of my breeder Burlington female . She is a 1998 hatch I think although Im not sure as I got her as a 3' adult in 2002. She is easily the finest Eastern Ive ever seen. Her white crossbars are simply unreal looking they are so clean and bright.

Thanks for the pics Keith. No doubt, these are some fine looking kings.
Keith,
I really like those snakes, 'specially that favorite breeder of yours. How big is she these days, and how many eggs does she produce? I'm sure she must be similar to my girl, so I'm looking to get a number of how many eggs to expect!!

Matt from Minnesota
Hi,
That could easily be my male Burlington NJ eastern, same heavy crossbars and slight grey smudging on the tips. Very nice. My female Burli, who looked identical for a while, all of a sudden became a black and snow white beauty after a few sheds. Nice snake.
Will
Good to hear from you Will. I have heard many good things about the kings you produce. I already find my new king to be quite attractive. The possibility of it looking even better with age is all that better. Thanks for the input. - Phil
Thanks for the kind words Phil, I have admired your nigra field notes and shots for a long time, They add a whole new realm to our experiences here, and I know that I and many others appreciate them even if we sometimes just hang in the shadows and don't mention it.
Here is that girl I was telling you about. She is my pride and joy NJ. Take care.
Will
Will, I'm glad you have enjoyed my nigra post and thanks for posting the pic of your N.J. female. That is one fine looking snake for sure!
Yours is a beauty. In addition to my NC. locality Eastern, I'm going to have to get me one of those NJ.Eastern Kings. And you say a friend gave you that one? Wow
Steve
Thanks Steve. Friends are indeed good things. I have been very fortunate.
Love the Chain pattern on its sides, great looking snake Tom Stevens
Thanks Tom. I sure was happy to get him. Makes a great addition to the collection
Sweet looking snake. One of those babies are gonna be in my collection in the near future for sure!!
